Fantastic Dryer

Nicholas 7/23/2025

Every dryer I™€™ve had before took forever or needed multiple cycles to fully dry clothes. Not this one, it gets everything dry in just one cycle! It™€™s powerful, efficient, and saves a lot of time. Highly recommended! Even my vent was always cleaned with the older dryers.

Commercial Electric Super-Capacity Dryer, Non-Coin

George 7/17/2025

Works as expected. We will see if it is still working in a year or two. Our experience with these is they do not last very long after five years, at the most, in the hotel.

Great product breaks often. Service is terrible. Plan to spend 10 days off work to get fixed. Whirlpool customer service leaves something to be desired and the local appliance repair technicians are unreliable, don't show-up, reschedule often, and require 3-5 visits to get the item fixed. The cost of repair when you include lost wages leads is in the thousands of dollars. Leaving this to be a "guaranteed" waste of your time and money. Owned for less than 6 months before issues arose, taken 6 months to get fixed. Used in a single family (two person) duplex.

Simple Yet Effective

JET77 4/30/2024

I made the purchase for drying towels, cleaning cloths, and smaller loads of tablecloths and sheets in a commercial/Industrial setting. The machine has performed very well with low operation noise and very good quality of cleanliness of washed/dried items. The machine is very simple and easy to operate with less confusing controls and is very well built.

Expecting More

skmc 4/2/2024

It works but I was expecting more with it being marked as a Commercial Dryer. It doesn't seem to dry any faster than my old regular dryer. I do like the high capacity.

Great Basic Dryer!

Cagey 10/10/2023

My 35 year old dryer finally went out and I had to get a new one. Looking at what is out there no days is crazy. Everything has to have all the bells and whistles that never get used. This dryer is a great basic dryer! Just what I was looking for. Put the clothes in, set the timer, and push start. No sensors telling me it's already dry, or internet connected controls saying I'm using too much electricity so I'll stop the cycle while it's still wet. I just hope I get another 35 years out of this one!

Simple - Rugged

WallyD 7/18/2023

Having been jaded by integrated circuits, their susceptibility to power surges, unexplained failures, and not-insignificant cost, I was pleased to learn that ruggedly-built appliances with old-fashioned mechanical controls are still available. This dryer does the job well: it effectively dries a large load of clothing in a reasonable amount time. As for its durability, I'll reserve judgement for my follow-up review when it has operated reliably for twenty years. Stay tuned.

Extremely happy with this electric dryer

Valerie 3/24/2023

I bought this electric commercial dryer from Home Depot last month. It doesn™€™t have the bells and whistles that other dryers I™€™ve had in the past but never used. Just pick the heat temp, the minutes, and hit the start button! The large drum holds big items or a lot of clothes. Easy peasy. Very happy with this machine & highly recommend

So Far So Good!!

Ronnie 3/21/2023

This machine seems really well built. Our last dryer had so much plastic on the inside that always seem to crack and need replacing. This unit is more METAL! Just like Maiden!! But much quieter than a Maiden concert (and our other machine.) It is very simple in the settings and though you might be able to bump this up to 11 as far as heat goes, I have found so far that the delicate selection seems to be adequate in most cases.

AuraMae 11/11/2022

We are a busy hair salon and have always had residential laundry machines that don't last us long. Excited to have our first commercial unit and love that the controls are simple. (We only do two types of laundry - towels and capes - so we don't need a computer to manage it.)

Commercial Dryer Non-Coin Op

mdwpj 3/10/2022

We wanted an ™€œold school™€ dryer without all the bells and whistles of modern electronics. So far we™€™ve been quite happy with the drying ability, large compacity, and simple dials with one button ™€œstart™€. However, fabric softener sheets and small items such as socks and underwear get snagged around the door opening edges inside where the metal edge is exposed. The latch for the door would be better situated on the side of the door opening instead of the top. Often when loading the dryer, clothing items get hung up on the latch.
