I have been using this about 2 weeks now and it bakes and cooks as it should. However, there are some small features missing that my old Kenmore range had. For example, there are two ovens but only one timer. Why? Did the designers think only one oven would be used at a time? Apparently not, because when I turn on the oven light, they both come on at the same time. However, no owner's manual is the most annoying thing. The book that came with it only instructs how to install and use the self-cleaning feature. Figuring out other things, like setting oven temps and setting the (one) timer were figured out using the old-fashioned "trial and error method". I did call the customer help line and asked if there is an online user manual, and was told there isn't. Would I buy this oven again? No. I wish Kenmore products were still available.

We took delivery of this range from Lowe's, about a month ago. Lowe's botched the installation by merely taping the gas lines to the range rather than using brass fittings. Since delivery the burners do not burn "blue" as they should when the air/gas mixture is correct. Lowe's refuses to send a technician to make need adjustments. Therefore, the range cook top does not cook properly

Terrible Range/Buyer Beware

I would give this product minus zero if it was available. The only redeeming quality about this product is that the cook top works good. The hinged grates are a nightmare as they usually come "unhinged" and scrape my counter top when lifting them. The ovens do not work at all. The digital readout says the oven has reached temperature (say 375), but the oven thermometer only says 300. Then if you try to reset the temp to 375, it will go up to 425. Just try baking a cake in this situation. This happens with both ovens. Total frustration. I have never ruined so much food in my life. I learned to cook on a total gas stove, so it's not a matter of not knowing what to do. I have called customer service and the agent actually argued with me about "calibrating" the ovens. I have calibrated the ovens and they still do their own thing. I was told that if a service person came to my house and they had to "calibrate the ovens", I would be charged a service fee as the customer is responsible for performing the calibration. This is even though I've only had the stove installed for 3 months. It is not covered under their "so-called" warranty. I, also, purchased the "extended" warranty. Frozen Bake is a joke. It was one of the reasons I bought this product and would not do it again. The only guidance customer service gave me was sending a video and a generic manual, that does not come with the stove and does not include one word about "Frozen Bake", via email. I would not recommend this product. It is too late for me as I am now stuck with this product. Buyer beware...

It is great to have the option of the smaller single oven when I am cooking for just my Husband and I, but the option of both ovens when we have the kids over for Sunday dinner and holidays. I love how I am able to control the temperature of the cook top far better than I could with my electric oven. Food cooks evenly and the oven is very stylish with awesome features.

My wife has really liked this stove from the beginning. Holiday cooking was a lot simpler with the double oven. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is when it was delivered the right side (as you face it) was damged and bent. It is hidden where we have it, so my wife wasn't to unhappy. Though it would be nice to get a brand new appliance without already being damaged.

It cooks true, two ovens offers versatility, with five burners, there is a size for every pan. Only caution - a VERY small pan (4 or 5 inches) can tip if not centered on the burner grate, but this is easy to manage when you know about it. Larger pans are absolutely no problem.

Stainless trim on the stove top and front with knobs gets very hot with either the gas burners top or oven in use. Temps measured by a repair person at 134 degrees F which is enough to leave a burn with prolonged contact. Dangerous for young children to be around and/or adults with neuropathy or conditions where sensitivity in hands is diminished. Whirlpool engineers think this temp is ok. They need to get out of the lab and into an active kitchen before declaring that temps up to 150 degrees F is within their testing tolerance and perfectly acceptable.

Danger- Knobs for the burners move easily

Then I took a break from cleaning it and came back and while I was wiping the floor beneath it reaching just like a half an inch under it as I was sliding my hand cleaning up stuff it sliced the crap out of the top of my finger.

This oven, that cost me 15 or 1600 dollars, and this is the second one, because we swore there was something REALLY wrong with the first one, since it took 22 minutes to broil a 7 oz. tenderloin that should take 5 min a side at most, has been the worst purchase of my life. Just a few days ago, right before it's apparent 2 year birthday, my front panel starts bubbling and melting, from running the BROILER to cook fish!!!! I am so disappointed, that I will never buy anything whirlpool again. I am literallly without words, and scared to use my broiler now. TOTAL waste of money!!!! I'd give it a zero if I could.

I've waited a long time to get a stove. Although there are things I don't like about it...in general I'm happy with it. I guess I'm used to having to live with things that aren't so good. It is difficult to have more than 2 pans on one side...UGH! And the knobs are easily pushed in when reaching for something in a cabinet. Who did the quality control? Difficult to clean and your customer service is no help. I've wanted to order a griddle and that has become a real chore. Your website is not customer friendly and calling is so bad I've called several different days and at different times....I've waited sometime 30 minutes and no answer to my questions...,I'm on the phone now waiting and it has been over an hour. I do hope they answer and I get an answer to my question. I do hope that I won't be sorry that I purchased all three kitchen products from Whirlpool. I have been satisfied in the past....Even though I have these complaints....I guess I would recommend your products. I've had them less than a year Don't feel there are better products out there...

I bought this range 2 month they would s ago, had to keep calibrating ovens because they would not keep temp. Work order was placed and whirlpool's contractor responded. At first he stated that there nothing he could do because it must be a design issue. Soon after he replaced the temperature sensor. He also found that cover in the upper oven was not installed properly. Time will tale.

A double oven unit I cannot use.

Our gas stove/double oven unit was delivered in the middle of July. After a quick test of the ovens we thought all was good. Come to find out that neither oven would actually heat up. Had to call Whirlpool and request a service tech come to the house to check, After waiting another 10 days the tech came and discovered through his due diligence that both igniters in the ovens were bad. So now we wait for parts on order and we will need to set another appointment to get the unit fully repaired. So this will mean our unit has been useless as far as oven use goes for over a month, likely will be a month and a half if we are lucky. Not too impressed with Whirlpool appliance at the present time.

I love the double oven. I am happy we converted to a gas range. I do wish it came with a griddle for the middle range. We bought this new in August 2020, but didn™™t get it delivered until October due to high demand. We installed it 11/21/2020. I say this to point out how little time this has taken to show wear and tear with normal use. The front digital panel has melted and warped. I™™m so upset about this and now looking at reviews, I see this is not an issue new to me. My pics look exactly like others that have the same issue. I would 100% return this oven if I could. This happened just over 2 months of use. The black on the grates is wearing off too. Be careful when you broil. You can only do it in the top oven, so the racks are very close to the broiler. The top oven tends to cook somewhat unevenly, but I™™ve learned and compensate for that. It™™s difficult to use more that two burners at a time. I don™™t normally need that, but it would be nice to have the option. Another flaw is the timer. It beeps once. The same beep it has when the oven is preheated. It™™s utterly useless. It™™s true they don™™t make things like they used to. If this is what it™™s like after two months, will it even last two years? It™™s not a cheap oven. I hope they replace/repair the parts.
