Can not get the veggie bin to not freeze my veggie

Lasts 11 months, then good luck!!

11 months ago we bought all new whirlpool appliances, the old whirlpool set was 12 years old and decided to buy new to AVOID issues (never had a single problem with the whole set). Last Monday night the fridge started making an odd noise. Since it was late decided to deal with it the next day. Early Tuesday morning called whirlpool and they said the soonest they can have someone look would be 1 week later. Since everything was working it was seemingly reasonable. Three hours later the fridge quit completely. I called whirlpool back and they said they couldn't get anyone here sooner, so here we are...without a fridge for a week at best. If they can fix it they will most likely have to order parts so it will be 1 week minimum without a fridge. This will be the last time I buy whirlpool, our old set was working good and we would be better off with that set now. We did not have an extra fridge at the time so we ended up loosing most all of the food we had while we were trying to make other arrangements to keep food in our house. A total bad experience and I would have a very hard time buying anything from them again

French Door Refrigerator

I bought rhis because i needed a 30 inch frig and there arent too many available. But there are 2 things iam dissappointed . one is that there is no place for butter.i have never seen that before in a a refrigerator. Very odd. And after i put my cold cuts in the place for them it scrapes along the bottom Strange. I can't figure out why. But generally speaking it's working nicely, seems to be enough room although my previous refrigerator was bigger. I like it very much.. I gave it only 4 stars because of the lack of a place for butter and scraping noise

Nous avons acheté çe réfrigérateur il y a 6 mois et nous étions très impatients de le reçevoir en juin. Très beau, moins logeable qu'imagine Mais beau produit. Hélas! Trop de condensation autant dans la partie frigo que congélateur. De plus, très bruyant, il faut sans cesse le bousculer pour que le volume sonore baisse. Suite à un appel de serviçe, nous avons été informé que c'est normal dans les températures d'avoir un peu de condensation. Un peu signifie ici le contrôle électronique envahi par l'eau. De plus, relativement au bruit, tel un véhicule automobile, le problème ne s'est pas présenté lors du passage du technicien. Donc on nous a fortement suggéré de le bouger et de trouver l'endroit le plus stable sur lequel il serait heureux (nous aussi naturellement). En bref il y a toujours de l'eau dans le contrôle et le bruit nous surprend au moment où l'on ne s'y attend pas. je pense que la pièce a été commandée mais les vacances sont prioritaires. Nous l'apprecions Tout de même, mais sans ses petits caprices nous l'aimerions beaucoup plus comme tous les autres produits Whirpool qui nous ont côtoyé dans notre vie.

I'm very pleased to find a refrigerator of this caliber that fits in my small kitchen. I've had it less than a month, but I can tell I'm really going to like it. The freezer space is good for me, and the ice maker is great. I love the design but wish the doors lined up as they do in the picture. Mine had to be adjusted, and the gap between the top of the doors is still a little wider than the gap at the bottom. It looks much better now, but not perfect.

There is so much depth and space in this refrigerator! I love it. Two things keep it away from five stars. On the right door I can't use all the shelves without it making a scraping noise. The only way to avoid it is to remove one of the shelves. The left door can be annoying as when you open it it doesn't stay open. Not sure if it is flaw in design or if the person didn't put together correctly. I'm getting use to it but for the amount of money paid I would think that the door would stay open. I may need to contact someone's. It is quiet and nice.

Very small with little storage in refrigerator.

Nice refrigerator but is very poorly planned out in refrigerator section. We are only 2 people and there is no room on the shelves and only one small place where you can store tall bottles. It is in front of a very small section where only a carton of eggs will fit. Don't recommend this refrigerator for a family. Didn't see it before we purchased it and am disappointed in the lack of refrigeration space.

No Room for Milk

The shelf layout is terrible. If you go through more than 1 gallon of milk per week (or any tall beverage container like juice) this isn't the fridge for you. The lack of space for tall beverages means we need to lay milk on its side flat. We have had many smaller sized fridges over the years and this one is by far the least functional.

Good Choice

We replaced our traditional refrigerator with the French Door style. Our friends had one and our daughter had gotten one. We are very pleased and happy we made the switch. After one month we are glad we made the switch.

Beautiful Refrigerator

I'm a huge fan of the look of the french door, bottom drawer refrigerators. Every side by side I've ever owned has stopped cooling around a year (or two at most) after purchasing (not specifically Whirlpool... many brands), and the normal top freezer refrigerators are ok for minimal use, if you don't do a lot of heavy shopping. I love my Whirlpool so far, but the only issue I truly have is the fact that I shop every two weeks and get quite a bit of stuff. It gets to be a special form of art to get everything to fit at times. It does take a little thought and storage preparation to work it out, but once you get a routine down, it's not so bad. I purchased a few separate ice bins and freezer bags, and am able to get a fairly organized storage system going. With the excellent quality and aesthetics this freezer brings, along with the Whirlpool brand backing it, you really can't go wrong and should be pleased with your purchase.

Good Refrigerator, but poor freezer dsign

The refrigerator works great, but the freezer design causes food to get stuck. Scratches really easily. Do not even light duty magnets, for the surface scratches really easily.

Nice features but the manual needs work

I like the compartments in the freezer. However the drive shelves are not tall enough for some of my containers and bottles. Love the modern look. It's the only one that fits our smallish space with the updated look.

Two issues to correct

WaterSong 3/8/2019

First, when I removed the door handles to remove the plastic protective wrap that was stuck behind them, I sliced open my thumb when I pulled off the bottom of the handle, it was like a razor blade. Second, the freezer door needs to have a self-closing mechanism installed so the door will close by itself. It always gets stuck open if I don't physically force it closed, which I often forget to do. The alarm is good, but the real problem is the door itself.

This french door model is not expensive but gives you all you need. My best feature enjoyed is the flexible shelfs - when you need to store tall items and need more vertical room.

Lots of room for a 30" space

This is a good looking fridge that fit well in the small space we have. It has taken some getting used to as taller objects require some moving around to get everything to fit. It is definitely not a "family" fridge, but works great for two people.
