I can't give it a five stars .You can't adjust shelves had to remove a bin and move shelves down.Do not like putting heavy pitches on door shelves wanted to put on a tall shelve so I made one. The size of ice cubes my gosh they are tiny. I guess I will adjust to it.Wish there were more refrigerators this size to pick from.

I've never owned a side by side refrigerator before but I really like this one. I love the refrigerator section, the shelves seem to sit back farther or maybe because I'm not bending to see what's inside, when I open the door I can see everything inside clearly there's no finding anything it's all right there. It also seems to hold more. My only complaint is the water is not as cold as I want it when it's dispensed . It is also a little louder than our old one. This one you can hear run our other one we had to put an ear to it to hear it

Temperature uncontrollable so much waste!

We bought prior to the birth of my 1st son to ensure the quality of pumped breastmilk. After a fiasco with the door not sitting right, freezing and thawing several times, and losing 3 months of stored milk, the refrigerator was mostly fine; only occasionally freezing everything on the refrigerator side. A month ago the refrigerator froze over again, and we lost a ton of food, again. The repair man fixed it; he replaced a part. However it wasn't fixed. This refrigerator has been a major loss of money, time, and huge stress for us. I think we got a lemon, which at this point I think should be replaced.

All good but the knocking sound

Similar to a 20 year old refrigerator I had this model is just fine. My complaint as in the title is that it occassionaly makes a fairly loud knocking sound. This sent me to my apartment door twice and gave me concern as I went to bed but eventually I located the refrigerator as the source. Everything else seems okay. I like the slightly smaller ice cubes and the water dispenser although the base and surrounding area seem of less sturdy plastice than the model I had.. The freezer section is a bit larger than my previous model and unlike my friend's bottom freezer doesn't require digging down to find things. The butter and egg rounded cover at the top of the refrigerator door was cracked on delivery and since it has only been a week I do imagine that a replacement will be sent.

Easy to organize and access items

Even though it took close to 3 months for delivery I am very pleased with this refrigerator. The door shelves are easy to adjust and ample room to organize frequently used items. I feel that I have plenty of room for food storage, especially when preparing meals for guests and you need the extra space. The ice maker works nicely and I like that you don't have to select between ice and water. The one concern is that shortly after delivery I did have water drip from the dispenser and a small puddle on the floor. Since that time I have had no incidents, but I am cautious.

I bought a Whirlpool because I had one for 18 years with no other problems than it developed a clunk. So I bought a Samsung French door that was really too big for my space, but worse, it went out after 4 years. A repair man that checked it said Whirlpool was a way better bet, so I found this one - an attractive, perfect fit for my kitchen. I find myself liking the side-by-side design and the ice/water in door (which I hadn't wanted) - and the price was decent at $1100. Once installed, the delivery man found that the light in the ice/water cubby didn't come on as it should, so we set up a service call. I was so upset about it that I slapped it and the light came on, so I canceled the call. Two weeks later it did the same thing, so I slapped it again and it's still working. I pray that's not an omen. Also, about once a day it goes into a cycle where the compressor is pretty noisy, but the rest of the time it's quite tolerable. The ice maker makes a lot of ice, and the glass shelves butt right up to the walls of the refrigerator, so really a lot of usable space for a 21 square foot unit. If it lasts 18 years like my last Whirlpool, I'll say it's the best ever. I'm done with Samsung appliances.

We have owned this Refrigerator for about a month, now. At first, I was unhappy with having 3 drawers instead of 2, and fixed unadjustable shelves. It turns out that the shelf spacing is just right and we can really hold a lot if food, despite the fact that we are unable to adjust them. Additionally, the extra drawer has provided for extra organization which, as it turns out, is a surprising bonus. The only thing we would change is the water dispenser. It pours slower than our last refrigerator and you need to keep the glass under the nozzle a while after dispensing water, as it does continue to pour a few seconds after the water pouring mechanism has been disengaged....which runs down the front of the fridge. So you need a little hang time after dispensing. All in all, a good buy. We are very pleasantly surprised and pleased with this product.

Nice fridge but it is loud

Earplugs required 10/31/2018

Ordered this fridge from factory about 1 month ago. We have had it now for about a week. Like the design and layout of the fridge. Ice maker works well and produces ice quickly. Lots of room on the fridge side but the freezer side is quite small. Not problem with this fridge is it is very noisy. Brought out a Whirlpool repair person just to make sure all was okay with it. We were told that is the way this fridge sounds and it was okay. Had we been able to hear it run before we bought it we would not have bought this fridge. Runs way to often and is really quite loud.

I have been quite happy! I love the features, as well as clear shelves for easy viewing of food. It is light weight with rollers to pull for cleaning!

We bought this side by side to replace our old Whirlpool top freezer refrigerator. We like the ice and water available from the front of the fridge, with our old one we had to open the fridge door to get our water. The LED lights are a great feature. The ice maker works well also. The selves and slide compartments are a good mix. For the two of us it meets our needs, while a family would need the larger size I am sure. We hope this will last many years as our other one, only time will tell but over all we are glad we made this purchase.

It's okay

We purchased a low end model because at least it fit our cabinet opening and was an Energy Star. It was the first refrigerator we've purchased since 1987 as our GE lasted that long. Our new one is of much less quality which is to be expected since we paid more for the GE in 1987 than we did for this one. So you get what you pay for and we are satisfied. A repairman told us not to go with GE as they are not what they used to be so maybe it is a trend. However, the stackable washer and dryer we purchased earlier this year are great!

Just In Love With It

I absolutely love everything about it. The ice. The water. The freezer. Crisper drawers. Shelves. Couldn't be happier. I am part of the WRAP program and was using an awful refrigerator that has stopped dispensing ice, was rusting and leaking water all over the floor. I am in heaven.

Very happy so far!

We had hoped to replace our fridge with the same model but it was no longer available. The saleman recommended Whirlpool and we are very happy with it. Interior is efficiently laid out with lots of shelf height options. It seems to hold more than our old fridge.
